ICAST-SS 2026 welcomes original contributions across applied science and technology. Submissions may include, but are not limited to, the following grouped topics:
Focus on the integration of digital technology, business intelligence, sustainable tourism, and circular economy principles in community-based natural resource governance.
Focus on digital transformation in the economy, government, and consumer behavior.
Focus on the role of business data and intelligent technologies in environmental engineering.
Focus on communication, behavior, and ethical aspects of climate issues.
Focus on smart cities, infrastructure policy and governance.

Papers must be written on A4-format page according to the IOP Conference Series template. Manuscripts of minimum four (4) pages and up to eight (8) pages in length. The paper should be written in English.

High-quality papers will be nominated for Best Paper Award.
All accepted papers will be included in ICAST-SS 2026 Book Program. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into Proceedings of IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES) subject to meeting IOP Publishing's scope and quality requirements.
Each paper must be presented by one author of the paper. Therefore, if your paper is accepted, one of the authors is required to register and present their paper at the ICAST-SS 2026 conference.
Important! Papers with no-show participants will not be submitted to IOP Publishing (IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES)). No refund of the paid fees may be claimed by the no-show author.
The conference will be held in Surabaya, the vibrant capital city of East Java, Indonesia. Participants will experience a dynamic academic and cultural atmosphere with easy access to transportation and accommodations.
